What's the purpose of the chop shop?
I haven't been able to buy anything from it because the item conversion rate is so low. I bought an upgrade from the black market for $12500. I realised that it didn't upgrade anything so I went to recoup some value in the chop shop and it gave me $500. Why convert a $12500 item into $500 after 2 minutes? The items in the chop shop cost tens if not hundreds of thousands and it's not like I can use the in-game currency or gold for the purchases. Make the conversion a reasonable percentage of the item's purchase or lower the price of the chop shop items, especially the blueprints. You can get 5 Dodge Viper blueprints from the black market for $350k but a single Viper blueprint from the chop shop costs 152k tokens.
If I go into storage, a Relay gives me 170 tokens despite costing $12k in the black market. A fuse and mounts give me 100 tokens despite costing $4.5k.
The conversion rate is 1-4%. Even at 4%, this means that 152k chop shop tokens for a single blueprint is equivalent to $3.8m in the black market. In other words, I have to sell $3.8m worth of components to afford a single mid-level blueprint when I can get those same blueprints in the black market for $70k. This makes the chop shop completely useless.
Either lower the cost of the blueprints in there or increase the conversion rate of the parts (by about a factor of 10), maybe allow gold purchases there too. Why not scrap the tokens and have the chop shop salvage give back gold that can also be used in the black market? That way the prices are easier to keep matched. The Viper blueprints would be similar to what they are in the black market around 55 gold. The crate system gives out multiple blueprints for 90 gold.
