was there a reason it wasn’t included in the first place?
In my opinion I think they wanted to wait and see how people reacted to how the game handled with a controller and though it's not perfect I think they nailed it, it feels great!! Imagine if they had issues with how the wheel felt and had to deal with fixes at the same time trying to fix the controller, chaos. I think their just playing it safe.
Playing it safe??? No...they're money grubbers plain and simple. I find it extremely difficult to accept that 21st century programmers have no idea how their code will perform BEFORE being released to the public. The only thing that matters to EA is the 'pennies per clock cycle" ratio as measured on their servers. That's why we have the ridiculous "who-knows-who-we're-racing" multi-player farce that masquerades as "0nline with your friends" racing rather than actually having PvP racing like we've seen in the past, which is more server intense.
