6v6 WOC takes too long to find drop in match

On average I spend close to 30 mins to an hour trying to find a full 6v6 drop in. There's got to be enough people searching in the U.S at any given time to get a full match, or am I wrong? My average search says 1.06s but I'm searching for up to 5 mins then have to restart the search. I'm out west in California by the way. Do players out east experience this same issue?
