Pressure Meter

Why does a pressure meter take so long to go back down if it doesn’t get completely filled? If we manage to get the puck out of our own zone to avoid high pressure, then proceed to get some shots and pressure of our own in their end, including a faceoff in their end, our own meter should not still be at 90% full when they come back down to our end again. They take one shot and all of a sudden it’s “high pressure” without them even doing anything substantial. At one point even in a recent game, both teams had high pressure at the same time for a second or two when the pressured team quickly got it back to the other end and got a shot off on net, getting high pressure of their own. I like the pressure system, but it badly needs tweaked.

  • I am not sure what they were thinking with the Pressure system.  They had tuned it to a decent place by the end of NHL 24.  It was more of an enhancement of gameplay rather than the focus.  But the change up for 25 has again put too much weighting on it.

It needs to be scrapped entirely, it was a mistake in the first place.
