Yes, BaP has not gotten attention in a long time. It's also one of the least played modes.
More people would play BaP if it was more frequently updated. There's little point to playing the mode now when nothing has changed in a few years. Most of the other major sports games have a much more in depth and immersive career mode than NHL, and the gap widens every year EA does nothing with BaP. Build a fun, immersive career mode and the players will be there.
