Game Configuration fail

I keep on getting game configuration fail when I try to play world or chel, shootouts, versus and I want to stop I have had this problem for 3 weeks and I have been having to use my other account. I just want to be able to play my game without getting errors and game configuration fail.

    Hi there. This is an issue we're still investigating. Do you ever get a failed to retrieve data error or is it just the game configuration fail error?

      Yes I do get both nothing online works. It’s super annoying.

        Yes. I know I would be extremely frustrated. One thing I saw recently that worked was disbanding the club. I know, that's far from ideal. It did resolve this same issue for someone else though. I've also seen reports that leaving and rejoining the club can help. Otherwise, we'll have to wait for a proper resolution. It's possible that could happen in January's update.

      I am having this same issue. I am able to get 1 game. Then I need to close app, restore licenses, and then get into a game. It doesnt matter if it is my club or another club. I continue to get a game configuration error and removed from the group.

    I got a 3 day ban for my gamer name (my bad:)). Since the ban ended I am getting a game configuration error every time I try to play drop in world of chel. I do not have a club, I have the latest rosters, I have re booted my router and modem, and I have deleted and re-downloaded the game on my PS5 all with no improvement. HELP!!

      Hi there. I have been told that deleting the club you were in when this started resolved it for someone else. Unfortunately, I don't have anything else to suggest other than playing on a different account until we get this properly fixed.

        Can you please explain to me how I "play on a different account"? I bought the game under my current PS5 account so if I try to use a different account (like one of my kids accounts), the game will not be available to me.

    Well, that does work… But it doesn't really solve the problem does it?
