Lost a game by getting stuck in a pause screen the opponent initiated…

I I just lost a game in HUT champs that I was winning because, apparently, the opponent paused. I was unaware. The game just froze for a minute. A few minutes later the pause screen popped up while the game was still going. I could still hear everything but was stuck with the pause menu on my screen. I am done with this. I did not pay for a beta. I want a refund. You guys are destroying this game. The gameplay this year has been great but that doesn’t matter if you can’t see the score because the game clock freezes on who had the assists 5 minutes ago or the cards from the last play freeze on screen for 2 minutes after a goal or the menus are sooooo laggy it’s almost not worth doing anything besides going straight to a game or when something like this happens. People are going to stop paying for this and you are going to kill a game that I have been enjoying for over ten years. And of course this will all go unheard. Thanks…

  • Third game now. This one is from an intermission pause screen (which I didn’t even get to see). I would also like to note that I have a fantastic internet connection and for this particular game I shut off my port forwarding on my router just to see if it would help. (I had it port forwarded because in previous years it would kick me out of games without it). I want an answer from someone. A reply in the least from the devs. You can’t sell something like this and just not give any sort of response. 

  • And now its froze to the point where I have to close the game. My hut champs run for this week is ruined because I only got to participate in 2/3 of each game. I suppose this is just a ploy to get me to buy packs for toty…

  • Whatever just happened. LEAVE IT ALONE. All of the sudden. Everything is working beautifully! Menus are quick. No more lag on replay animation banners! It’s perfect.

    It sounds like there potentially was a connection issue. If it happens again, let us know and we'll go through some troubleshooting. Glad to hear it's working again for you.
