NHL25 on PS5 - EA Play Issue

Hello,

I am located in the UK, and I was playing NHL25 on my PS5 this morning (6AM) and it worked fine. I have downloaded it from EA Play. I closed the game and turned my PS5 off.

Now (11:00AM) the game will not load, and I no longer have the option to launch the game. Where it used to have a "Play Game" button, that button now says "View Product", and the game has a lock icon next to the EA logo.

I have a current EA Play subscription, and other games I have downloaded from EA Play work as expected. On the EA Play game catalogue page NHL25 is listed as "Unavailable".

I had just started the first round of the playoffs on my Be a Pro save, and I would like to finish it.

Can anyone help? What has happened?

Hi. When I contacted PlayStation support about it, they sent me this response, could you look into it for me as well, please? My PSN ID is the same as here.

We would like to apologise for the time it took us to respond to you, and we appreciate your patience.

Upon reviewing your case, we have confirmed that you possess a free game license; however, the game is no longer available in the PSN catalogue.

Since you have an EA Play subscription, we recommend attempting to download the version available through that service, as the license from the PSN catalog is no longer available.
