Preorder Bonus

I can’t claim my preorder bonus on Series X. In the store it says to try again later, and using the enter code feature it says that the code is invalid. I called the retailer and they claimed that it was a known issue and EA was working on it. Is this true or did I preorder for nothing? The code for 250 points that came inside the case worked, so I know it’s not a problem with my Xbox or account.

    Hello. This is not a known issue. Unfortunately, we cannot help with bad codes. You'll need to contact the retailer to see if they can assist.

    You and Xbox both said I need to talk to them, but they said I need to talk to you. Is there any way you could just issue me a new code? I can provide proof of purchase and proof that the code doesn't work.

    I'm sorry to say, we cannot issue new codes. It is up to the retailer it was purchased from to replace codes.

    Did you buy the game on disk and get a code from Target for the bonus content?

    Yeah. I'm trying to work with Xbox again right now, and they said if they can't do anything then I need to talk to EA. They're saying the code is active and they are supposed to send me an Email to give to EA to check what is wrong with the code. Where could I send that to? If I don't get their email would someone still be able to check the code?

    The preorder content. The code is active but I cannot redeem it. They said someone on your end may be able to look into it to see why.

  • Having the same issue.  Spoke with Microsoft for 3+ hours and they say code is valid.  They said contact EA or Best Buy where it was purchased from.   Best Buy says contact EA and EA says contact Best Buy.    Everyone pointing figures saying not me.

    Need help with this.
