Umm EA help please

Thanks for letting me know. As you can see in this thread, there are a few others with the same issue. So far, we haven't been able to reproduce this so we aren't able to find out what's causing it and come up with a fix. It's very possible this is hardware related. It sounds like the console might be overheating, but so far everyone's console has been in a well ventilated location with the vents free of debris. Do you hear the fan speeding up by chance?

I don’t hear the fan getting louder, could it be possible my fan isn’t coming on ? My Xbox doesn’t shut down it just sends me to the dashboard. I feel warm air coming out of the top so I assume the fan is working. As previously stated, this is the only game it’s happening to. Again thank you for bringing this up. If there’s a way to send you a video of what’s happening I’d be glad to do so. 

If you could hear your fan speeding up and getting louder, that points to an overheating issue. It can't completely rule out that the fan isn't working. I think it might be unlikely though. At the moment, we just haven't been experiencing a crash like this and we haven't been able to reproduce it. We need to find out what you all have in common.

Have you changed any settings related to power on your console? Do you have any other apps/games in Quick Resume?

I find it absolutely hilarious the patch has something specifically detailing "Issue with game defaulting to home screen" today. From "we can't replicate & it's likely your console" to a fix is quite nice.
