Exactly what I am experiencing, playing on superstar as every year, I actually get 5 energy points per week (3-4 games per week). Now, if you play "quick - 5 mins period" then the energy is sort of okay, but you don't get much done so I drop to AHL. Coming back up, coach puts me on 4th line ... first game on "quick" - zero shifts, second game 0 shifts, third game 1 shift, fourth game 0 shifts, fifth game 1 shift .. somehow all the losses where I didn't get to play were my fault according to post-match media LOL ... wtf??? Ok, I can change to medium or realistic, play 20 mins periods and get some shifts ... oh wait, then I am exhausted after one game and i need to play 4 and perform well to progress, ... shame ... oh well ... i'll just wait for a fix then.
The energy drain should stay the same regardless of your game mode (quick, medium, realistic) in my opinion ... keeping the drain as it is on "quick" would make it playable ... at least for me. Maybe bit more energy points throughout the game week.
There's a lot of good there, the game play is great, and the mode is a huge improvement over the beloved pond hockey. The energy system needs some work though that's for sure.
