Not really, form points have been adjusted enough that you don't have to play 4-line all the time, but almost all of them are still far from realistic and even penalties don't work properly...
Some of the key features that still bothers:
No chance to play your first season/season on minors (NA or Europe) and whole WJC tournament before NHL Draft.
Your player is 16 or 17 years old when they debut in NHL. Rule states that all players should be atleast 18.
There are no timeouts at all in Be A Pro games.
There's no rookie lap when your character makes his NHL debut
Tunnel walkouts are minimized. There should be walkout at all "special moments" like every stanley cup playoff game and hype it even more at finals, home opener, grudge matches etc.)
Coaches/staff don't follow the game when you are at the bench. No emotions when team scores or gets scored on. No shouting instructions etc.)
There are no injury report when your player gets injured. You don't know what injury you have and how long you are out. Mainpage newsfeed doesn't address your injury at all. You are just "struggling" or "getting ready to face (team name)or some other not injury related.
Championship team photo is missing players and staff.
No banner raising ceremony in first home game after winning the cup.
No contract negotiation options with teams through your career.
No locker room interviews on special occations (first game, first goal, named to games 3 stars, hitting a milestone on your career, winning/losing series etc.)
No good exit interview with coach/GM when season ends.
Form score/challenges are is still based mainly on points. And its' ridiculous!
