EA NHL 26 CHEL WOC IS A JOKE

This is kinda the point we are making, yes, these should be defendable, and sometimes with proper positioning they can be stopped; but, with that being said, poke checks and stick lifts are still significantly under effective compared to what they should be doing. But more importantly, it is simply not fun if you have to play into these exploits and glitches in order to win games. It is supposed to be a hockey simulation, hockey offers all kinds of unique play styles and experiences, not just 3 sudden death enforces rushing the puck and reverse hitting to glitch goals every single time, it is simply not fun for either side because every game is the same. IT IS SO BORING and a complete waste of time. I have been playing EASHL since it was first added into the game, and this is undoubtedly the worst year for glitch goals ever, because even with proper defence, you are rarely actually rewarded for proper positioning and defence (proper meaning actual hockey). I am not claiming to be a hockey genius, but like, cmon, anyone who has ever played or watched a reasonable amount of hockey in their life can see the glaring issues this game has.

I agree with the truculence and reverse hitting, but again, what are you all considering to be glitch goals? High percentage shots given up by bad defense are not glitch goals. They are not scored because of a bug that makes those shots undefendable.

I also fully agree on stick lifts. They were great in 25, but are far from useful in 26.

Can you give me video examples of this? With the exception to truculence and reverse hits, positional defense can be very successful.

I unfortunately do not have video, but I can assure you 9/10 if I am set up in the passing lane to try and intercept a cross-crease of a high slot shot in a 2-on-1, which is the proper defensive play in hockey, you take away the pass and attempt to force a bad shot or no shot at all, but instead of getting the puck or even making contact with it to force it out of lane it goes right and my player stand there dazed and confused while the other team rifles on top shelf; this is not bad defence, it is how you properly play the game of hockey, I have a high defensive awareness rating on my build, there is no reason I should be struggling to stop a puck along the ice, I can understand if the occasional, or even, if all the saucer passes get through, but they aren't saucer passes, they are meatballs floating across the ice that any defence man should be able to stop. Like I said, as defence, you are simply helpless because the game is purely about goals, so people can feel like they are good at the game, and the EA money grab can continue.

    As stated in the first sentence of the post, I don’t have video, but others have also brought forward this concern; if it is something that can be looked into that would great, considering we paid money for this game and your job is to report back community feedback.
