Gameplay

The biggest flaw i find with the game is. We all know that we can only control one player at a time. Therefore the AI controls the remaing 11. The AI team is always responsive in checking, blocking shots, passing, and making moves that feel like they anticipate your move. But the AI controlled players on your team, do not have the same response. D men sit idle as play goes on around them. Players stop short in trying to retrieve the puck. Lack of shot blocking in front of your net. Just a few ineptnesses of the AI controlling your players. The AI team also gets away with blatant offsides, as well as non called icings. The same cant be said for your team. Small things that are broken and not fixed. Make for even bigger problems down the road.

The game is absolute trash. Just went through the same thing. Adjust the sliders, so they stop poke checking so aggressively. And the hits to be less. Turned down the cpu literally down to 0. 
Very first game in, the cpu is charging and hitting my guys after the pass so unrealistic, the poke checks still came aggressively if not worse. And if felt like my players are dancing and sliding while the cpu just glides around me. Game is complete trash always will be. 

And there is no post whistle scrums even when you change it in the setting and put it to anything goes

And the offline cpu penalties sliders have absolutely no affect,  penalties set at 4 and cpu penalties all set at 100 and the cpu takes 1 or 2  x check or holding penalties and no trip, hook or slash penalties per game @ 7 min periods franchise or season modes nhl or ahl team.
