HUT and Cup Chase. Useless waste of time

I’ve lost close to 20 games now because it either freezes or I loose connection. Only game in my collection that ‘looses connection’ so I have to double up on objectives. I’ve reported this at least ...

Other than the freeze that can happen during intermissions in Cup Chase, I'm not aware of any issues that would cause you to disconnect. Are you on a wireless connection by chance?

I am on wireless but haven’t had this as an on going issue with any past NHL game or other games. Maybe in the odd blue moon but not close to 20 games between freezing and disconnected. The silly thing is it takes me to the main menu and I’m still connected. I’m still online like nothing happened. But I now have to redo my objectives and games.

Chances are great the issue is being on a wireless connection. If at all possible, try switching to a wire.

Try power cycling your equipment with these steps:

Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes

Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off

Power it all up and try playing again

Not sure how many games you have data for on your console. But one issue that might help eleveate the disconnect is. Dumping the consoles cache. Also. If your modem is presently associated with a number of devices. This can cause your games to act a bit sluggish, sometimes being responsible for cross interference, where your game would disconnect. Try closing down devices not in use while playing. And periodically. Reboot your game to keep the connection refreshed.
