New version available but…

When I try to download the latest version available in hut it doesn’t work. It constantly checks after it when I start a match and says it is available but nothing happens when I try to download it from the settings. How do I resolve this?

  • When I log into HUT in NHL26 both on ps5 & Xbox accounts the prompt(see pictures) pops up about ”content updating, update is required to proceed”. This pops up every time I open the store in hut and when I start up to play a match. It wasn’t like that before S.2 update for HUT on my Xbox. And also it says in the settings that there’s an new version available(see pictures), but it doesn’t update, it just says the same after trying to update. Hopefully this helps with the pictures. 
    I can play and see all the new S2 sets and MSPs and so on. Just annoying that it won’t update and that it pops up every time I log into HUT and when I load up to play it a match. Wasn’t like that before as I said before.

    Can you give me more details on what exactly is happening? Are you getting a message saying you need to download the update in order to play?

    Tried but still the same, it is on both my accounts on PS5 and Xbox. Wasn’t like that on my Xbox before season 2 update on my Xbox. Bought it recently to my ps5 so don’t know on there. Very frustrating.

    Hi there. Try power cycling your equipment with these steps:

    1. Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
    2. Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
    3. Power it all up and try playing again
