NHL 26 FRANCHISE MODE RIGGED GAMES

THE FORGOTTEN GAME MODE

FRANCHISE MODE

Playing against the computer now days is so incredibly boring, I've restarted the same game 3 times.

GAME 1: I could barely get into their zone because they hit me and took the puck off me with their "sticky sticks", I lost 5-1 with 23-32 in shots… also had more time in their zone.

Got mad and tuned off the game and start over again cuz i wanted to win.

GAME 2: 3-0 to me in fisrt period then the computer start doing **bleep** goals that no goalie schould let in EVER!!!! third goal with 15 seconds left of the period and i lost in overtime.

GAME 3: Hardly any hits, I could drive past them easily, easy to score, of course they had to score two bad goals. anyway 7-2 to me.

YES KIDS i know ”lack of skills” ”blah blah blah” i know i am not very good and i play between 2-6 games per season on PRO, but isn’t this very clear and obvious that the computer decides who will win?

I also noticed it with sim, my team played pretty well but after deadline my team lost 14 games in a row, same here I got mad and just turned off the console, the next time I played my team won 11 of those games.

I didn't make any trades or changes during the deadline because they played really well.

Goalies can often have really good save % like 92/93 until the deadline, after that they often drop to 90/91

When you start a 33 expansion and build a garbage team just to manage to get high draft picks, they often go to the finals, then you build a good team with good line chemistry.... WELL then you have the worst season in hockey history 🤦‍♂️

and if your team plays well the first season and you think you're going to continue next season with the EXACTLY same line up.... nope forget it, even if the players' total is better, season two won't work.

Maybe I'm completely stupid and don't understand franchise mode at all even though I've been playing it for 10 years, or has EA completely ruined the game?

This is false seeing that factors that go into in game play compared to a SIM a in game experience

First off, stamina is handled incorrectly if you change the period length compared to how they SIM (if you keep generic sliders then the first line plays a solid 8 minutes in game time before a line change by the AI), which affects time on ice stats and player growth, however SIM games seem to have more evened time on ice,  then there is how penalties are handled whereas a simmed game has proper numbers for penalties compared to an in game experience where they are barely existent, then we can look at possible injuries (especially goalie) seeing that if you SIM they are possible and can affect the outcome of games whereas if you play games there is no coding for goalies injuries at all.

This doesn't even go into the animation based gameplay that can affect in game users (you poke check the puck away from the AI, moves towards center ice but then morphs back to the AI stick).

It's not about the computer picking wins or loss but how inconsistent they are from eachother.

How often do you play offline?

If someone consistently sees simmed games having better results than played games, it would seem like this was related to skill. Putting that aside though, the computer is not picking who wins and loses and then forces that to happen.

While I don't fully disagree or agree with what you stated the SIM engine and in-game engine are not the same thing whatsoever and can't be used to determine if it's the players skill being an issue.

These 2 statements sound like the issue is with how you're playing. The game is not rigged to force you to lose. You may want to reduce the difficulty. If your team does better when simming, the issue would be with your playing.
