Great suggestions, but the problem is they don’t fit EAs business model. If they add too many features at once and let developers create a truly amazing game, people might not feel the need to buy the next years version.
Since they have no real competition, their approach has been to keep the same core game modes and drip feed a few new features each year. They know fans will keep buying annually, hoping for big improvements that rarely come all at once.
