I'm hesitant to spread this across too many threads (this exact post has been made a lot), but...
Stick checking neds to create more separation of puck from player. I'm sure it feels great to skate through an entire team with Unstoppable and Big Rig on, but it doesn't feel good to try and defend, and the defensive X-factors are pathetic in comparison. Yesterday somebody reverse-hit one of our defensemen into the bench. That's not hockey, that's like watching Mighty Ducks 3 on Disney+. I can see fighting through a poke check or stick lift once or twice. Exceptional players have done it. Fighting through 11 stick checks and losing possession multiple times only to get it back in .3 seconds each time is apocalyptically bad.
