"The outcome is mostly dependent on how well a team plays together rather than one person's higher stats"
This is true, but it does NOT negate the fact that by definition it's P2W. P2W by definition from Cambridge and AI, does not mean you CAN'T win if you don't pay. You are translating this literally in every post despite the fact I have supplied multiple sources for you to read and show you what it is. P2W gives advantages to those that pay.
If these P2W builds give YOU no issue, this does not negate other's experiences.
At this point you're absolutely arguing in bad faith by deliberately misunderstanding a term that has been defined. You clearly just do not want to call it what it is. Imo the only argument here is HOW P2W it is. You can say it's not a big advantage, others can say it's a huge advantage, neither group can prove what they're saying. I personally believe skill can absolutely diminish the attribute advantages but if you're facing a team just as skilled they will have an edge. I think the advantage the build has at lower levels may be more as even low danger shots have a higher % chance to find the back of the net. Most top players are taking high danger shots more often so the attributes have diminishing returns.
The biggest issue we have here is where this goes.. is the McDavid build gonna be the best build in the game or will we have to expect something better? The McDavid build is extremely good but at least it doesn't have physical abilities or attributes. His biggest issue is the speed, and it poses a real problem for defenders. I don't want to create a slippery slope and suggest the next build will be a chara with 99 speed, but for arguments sake, at what point are these builds an issue? How good is too good?
I don't think the devs actually care about our feelings or this discussion so I'm not sure if there is any point to all of this anyway, as it will likely just come down to what investors see as most profitable. I can only imagine how much NHL has made/ will make as they release more/ better builds.
