I will try Skill Stick. Note: I only play BAP (I don’t believe you do based on other comments by you.). All three of the controllers are official Sony controllers.

Also, seems to only happen when I shoot aiming top of net. Seems to mostly happen when attempting a one timer.

Yeah, I pretty much just play WoC with the occasional Online Versus game. I'll watch for other reports of this. So far, yours is the only one so I'm inclined to think there's something going on with your hardware or game. Something else you can try is deleting the personal saved data for NHL 26 with the below steps. However, it's possible you could lose any offline saves and changes to settings. Normally, that doesn't happen though as they are downloaded from the cloud, but I can't guarantee this.
