Cannot catch a pass, players fumbling pucks

Hello!

Over the last couple of days, I cannot seem to get a player to cleanly receive/catch a pass in both Be a pro and Franchise modes. Not sure about other modes. I have tried to adjust multiple settings to no avail.  Can anyone help? It just all of a sudden started happening.

    Hi there. This sounds like a controller issue. Make sure your firmware is up to date. Also, it can't hurt to power cycle with these steps:

    1. Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
    2. Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
    3. Power it all up and try playing again
