By far the worst NHL game to ever be released! It glitches constantly! The goalies or horrible! Its all about them making money and getting you to pay to have the fastest player! The glitch goals are absolutely horrendous! The fact that there's a trait that drains the other teams stamina for no reason is the most insane unreal bull sh it I've ever seen! Hi. It's been a week since the last patch, and the game still isn't working properly. It's not just the slow menu in the HUT or the laggy pack opening, which others have reported, but also the constant input lag during matches. I know not everyone has this issue, but I've been experiencing it for seven days now. After last week's patch, the game became barely playable for me. Until last Wednesday, before the patch, the game ran flawlessly, without any input lag. I also read on the forum that someone is having a problem where their team suddenly slows down, for example, towards the end of a match. I'm experiencing similar issues. Even though my entire match is sluggish, there are times when it gets a little better, or suddenly worse, so much so that the AI players don't even know what they're doing. It's becoming very irritating. I don't know how I lasted a week, but I'm already physically and mentally exhausted because the conditions I play in demand 200% concentration, which ultimately exhausts me. But most importantly, there is no fun in playing this game, even if you manage to win. It's hard to create any good plays, even shots come out weird, and it's hard to position yourself defensively and switch players in time. Sometimes it seems like the match starts at the right pace, but after 10-15 seconds, input lag appears. Network status during the match shows the same values as always (24-29 ms), even before the update, so they don't affect the input lag. The game feels like it's being played with a 100 ms delay. I forgot to mention that a slight delay is noticeable even in Moments, which are supposedly played offline but are somehow tied to the server connection. Ranked, HUT Champion, and Wild Card are a complete pain. I've tried everything – turning off my router/modem + resetting to factory defaults, setting different DNS, unplugging the console for a while, reconfiguring the network on the console, reinstalling the game, use two different controllers, rebuilding the database... All to no avail. Of course, I checked to make sure it isn't an issue unrelated to the NHL, but the console and other games run normally. I even launched HUT in NHL 25 and everything seems to work fine there. If anyone else is experiencing a similar problem, please join the discussion or at least give them a thumbs up, as it's unclear if the Team is aware of the issue. Until this is fixed, I think I'll give up on playing NHL, as it's not fun. Team, please do something. Thank you. Playstation, central-east Europe.Cannot be captain
Got a trusted level with management and teammates. Won the cup. Got a 19 million dollar contract. Next season the game changed my jersey number, randomly, and the option never appeared to become captain before, during or after pre-season. Just got the new update. Went back to previous save that was after the cup win and went through the whole pre-season and first couple of games again. No option for captain. Hello???
Inconsistent play
Idk if others experience this but it seems like there are some games where I’m a goalie god and I could stop actual lightning. And the. There are games where I’m a turn style letting literally any and everything go in. I don’t change my build, I don’t change how I play, it could be silvers or elites, doesn’t matter. I’ll make graceful sliding glove saves and sprawling kick saves one game, and the next I’m a blind kid with Parkinson’s. Why? Is programming that hard? We have AI now, let an AI bot make a game for you. Preferably not an AI bot that you guys made. Use chatgpt, then maybe we’ll get something worth the money we pay.New Be A Pro is unplayable
As a big be a pro fan, this years so called "update" has been a huge dissapointment. There are multiple issues that ruin the gamemode and make it feel like grinding. 1 . The New form score system is absolutely ridicilous. It seems like the form score only bases on your point production and I have to keep it up ALL THE TIME, so I wouldn't get down in lines. One challenge asked me to keep up 85 form score in next 8 games and I literally have to score 2 points every game to make that happen. And when the 8 games are over, the coach just gives me another, exactly identical challenge. It just feels like grinding and the game isn't fun. Also it's very unrealistic to expect a rookie to score even a point per game and I would habe to score almost two per game to keep myself in the roster. 2 . We cannot use custom rosters in be a pro. So, there is only one default ea roster they use for be a pro and it's absolutely outdated and some of the players ratings are very inaccurate, so it eould be nice to use your custom roster. Also this deafult roster doesn't have many elite prospects like Gavin McKenna and because we can't use our custom rosters, NHL draft class quality is weaker. 3 . Character's overall drops significantly during offseason and I lost my X-Factor I finished my season at 86 overall and during offseason, my overall dropped to 79. Because of this I lost my tape to tape X-Factor, because I have to have atleast 93 passing and 89 offensive awareness and when these ratings dropped during offseason, I cannot use the X-Factor until I get my attributes back to that level. I also can't even use specialist or superstar version of the X-Factor during that time. 4 . Salary perks system is bad. Every month the salary perks reset and the attributes go down if you don't renew them. It would be better if your attributes would actually stay up permanently. 5 . Every time I enter the Be A Pro menu, there's a very annoying sound coming from form score meter. It is possible to tirn it off in the settings by putting SFX volume to zero, but it also affects gameplay sounds and I don't hear skates and passing sounds anymore and it's frustrating to go back to the settings after every single game. This new be a pro does have ome good additions like the new cutscenes and tunnel walkouts and even new menu music but these bad things ruin the game mode completely and destroy my motivation.
