Game freezing when joining a game

Any game mode I try the same thing happens in the screen you see just before joining a game or in the case of online it with match with opponent then freeze

    Router using IPv4, reset local saves on Xbox and game, reset router multiple time, rest Xbox over and over, deleted game and reinstalled, unplugged all USB’s attached to Xbox

    It would help knowing which steps you've tried so I don't repeat those. Also, go to the network settings screen on your Xbox and let me know what it says for the IPv. If it says you're using IPv6, edit this in your router settings to use IPv4 instead. You may need help from your ISP for that if you can't access your router admin.

    Thanks for the info. Try clearing the alternate MAC address with these steps:

    1. Go to your Xbox Settings
    2. Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
    3. Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"


    You can also try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 26. To do that, please follow these steps. There is the risk of losing offline saves and changes to settings you've made. Normally, those download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee this.

    1. Hit the Guide button on your controller
    2. Highlight the NHL 26 icon
    3. Hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the guide button with the 3 horizontal lines on it
    4. Choose Manage game & add ons
    5. Go to Saved data
    6. Delete the file with your gamertag on it

    Xbox series s, I’ve reset internet, rest Xbox for the last two day, redownloaded the game, everything inside the game works except for being able to play actual hockey

    Try power cycling your equipment with these steps:

    1. Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
    2. Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
    3. Power it all up and try playing again
