Cloud gaming & controller lost issues
Playing the game through cloud gaming on xbox one. In the past week there has been many times in cloud gaming when I get notification of bad network for couple of secs then gameplay returns. When returned it is 50/50 if the controller is still working. My network is fine and I have tried to repowering the controller and plugging it in but nothing works. The outcome is that I get disconnected from the game because I cant move the player. After returning to the menu, the controller suddenly works again. This is very frustrating to lose rank because of a bug.World of chel games crashing
I was playing an EASHL game and was winning 9–3 when I suddenly received an “UNEXPECTED ERROR” message and was kicked back to the main menu. This happened during an active game with no warning. I was unable to finish the game or receive the result. Game mode: EASHL / World of Chel Platform: Xbox Score when error occurred: 9–3 Error: “An unexpected error has occurred. You will be returned to the main menu.” I’ve attached a screenshot of the error. Please investigate whether this is a server/EASHL issue and whether the game result can be recovered. Grooves finest. We have 2 loses both came from game crashes
WoC 3v3 penalty shot desync
There is some issue that causes a major desync and eventual game crash in 3v3 WoC. I have series X but my buddy has the standard xbox. Several times right after a penalty, my buddy get stuck into a super slow motion replay. The rest of us are looking at frozen players on the ice. We can’t continue until the replay completes for my buddy. Things go fine after that but every replay or end of period highlights go super slow for him. I’ve been dealing with this crash for about 4 - 5 games (NHL 22 -26). I thought it might be fixed finally this year, but no. I’ve seen other reports on this and no solutions. Every 3-5 games (playing mostly HUT) the game freezes and then boots me back to the dashboard. It’s super frustrating considering there’s challenges and rewards given based on going undefeated or wins in a row. Pretty much impossible to play or get anything done in the game. I’m on Xbox series X. I’ve done factory reset, changed my camera angle, done a power cycle… none of these have worked. Hello EA, I only play Online Versus, and I really enjoy the mode. However, there are several issues that make the experience frustrating. I hope you will consider the following feedback. 1. Add an "Avoid Player" option Please give players the option to avoid being matched against specific opponents. It would make the experience much better without affecting normal matchmaking for everyone else. 2. Improve matchmaking based on connection quality Some matches are affected by freezing, lag, or unstable connections. It would be great if players with poor or unstable connections were less likely to be matched together. 3. Body checking feels extremely inconsistent This is my biggest concern. In most Online Versus games, it is difficult to land body checks because skilled players can easily avoid them. Then, every once in a while, I face an opponent who somehow lands 40–50 successful body checks in a single game. That feels completely different from every other match. Please investigate whether this could be related to gameplay balance, netcode, desynchronization, or another issue. 4. Too many injuries and excessive fatigue from body checking When one player lands an unusually high number of body checks, it often causes multiple injuries and drains the opposing team's energy. This has a huge impact on the outcome of the game and does not feel balanced or fair. 5. Goalie consistency Goalies often feel inconsistent. Some games my goalie allows very soft shots, while the opposing goalie makes multiple breakaway saves and cross-crease saves that seem almost impossible. The difference between goalies from one game to another feels too large. Final thoughts I love Online Versus and want NHL to be the best hockey game possible. I'm not accusing anyone of cheating. I'm simply asking EA to investigate these gameplay inconsistencies and improve the overall experience. Thank you for reading and for continuing to support the NHL community.
Unfair RP Loss Due to Server/Connection Error in NHL CHEL Drop-Ins
Hello, I would like to report an issue that happened to me in NHL CHEL Drop-Ins. We queued for a match as a team of 3 players. We found opponents, confirmed the match, and started loading into the game. However, during the loading process, I received notifications that my teammates had disconnected one by one. They did NOT leave intentionally — the game itself kicked them out unexpectedly. As a result, I entered the game alone, and the match was immediately canceled. The problem is that only I lost RP/points because of this. I lost exactly 952 points. My rank was Diamond 3, Bar 2, while the opponent I matched against was only Silver 1. I also have a recorded video that clearly shows this issue and proves that it was caused by the game/server and not by us. I would like to ask if it is possible to restore my lost points since this happened because of an error on your side. I can provide the video evidence if needed. Thank you very much.
