Hey all,
I see alot of people saying that they can't figure out how to get your custom sliders to stop reverting back to the default. The steps below worked for me!
- Launch Be A Pro
- Head to the game settings and adjust the sliders how you want in the Gameplay Sliders
- Go the accessibility tab within Game Settings
- Go over to Controller Accessibility
- Under Gameplay Presets you should be "create preset". If you're on Xbox its by clicking down on the right thumbstick.
- Name your Presets
- Now go play your next game. You're still going to see "quick, medium, real-time". Just hit medium and continue.
- Before you hit Start Game go down to Game Settings
- On the accessibility tab go to Controller Accessibility
- You should see your preset at the bottom. Click over to change the Gameplay Preset to NHL 26 and click back on your saved preset.
- This should "reload" the sliders. It's kind of crazy that you have to go through all that, but it works for me.
You have to repeat the last step before every game unfortunately, but it's been working for me so far. Hope this helps!

Wasn't this an issue the last few years?

Yes, but generally once you did this one time it stuck. This year you have to do it before every game, for now.

This is the workaround I use as well. Just a reminder; remember to save your preset again if you make some tweaks during a game that you want to keep. You can’t save the preset while in the game, but the sliders will be “saved” after you finish the game and get back to the hub, they only reset once you select to start the next game. That means you have a window to save your preset while you’re in the hub and in between games. If you start the next game and cycle the profile to reload the settings, they will not contain the unsaved tweaks from the previous game.
If I remember correctly, yesteryears issue was that new BAP-careers didn’t carry over your slider settings from your general settings or previous BAP-career, forcing you to recreate them every time. But yes, once you had done that once, they would stick to that career.
