Lost Connection

Hello. Are you playing on a wired or wireless connection? Also, there are some connection troubleshooting steps here that might help.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. Every day, I get kicked out at least once during an online match. I've read all the recommendations and followed them, but it didn't help. I'm also from Slovakia, and I only have this problem in NHL26. For example, it never happened once in 25, so the problem must be on EA's servers. What annoys me the most is that it counts it as a lost game and I can't do anything about it. Did you manage to fix it somehow? 

We're not aware of any issues on our end that would cause you to disconnect. Have you tried the troubleshooting steps here?

I'm getting disconnected every few cup chase games.. 

Instead of saying that you're not aware of any issues, we're telling you now, so now you're aware... Could you please escalade that issue?

The message on the screen says that I lost connection to the EA server, or it shows an error code with numbers. As I mentioned above, it happens randomly and not at the same time each day. Other online games work fine — only NHL 26 has this issue.

Are you getting the disconnect screen saying you've lost connection to the servers or are you crashing?

Yes, I’ve tried and checked all those steps and guides, but it didn’t help. It happens randomly. I can’t tell exactly what’s going on in the background or what specific actions lead to it. The PS connection is always stable, only the online NHL 26 session crashes. I’m from Slovakia (Central Europe), and everything was fine before update 1.14.
It also happens in WOC mode, where it just disconnects me and I automatically lose RP, which is really frustrating. The developers should definitely fix that. It should be possible to program the system to detect when the game disconnects randomly for other reasons, not just when a player directly quits (DNF) — even based on how buttons are pressed on the controller and in the menu. (Just my note.)
