NHL 26 keep crashing

I am experiencing constant crashes when playing NHL 26 on my PlayStation 5. The game crashes repeatedly and has become completely unplayable.

I have already tried deleting and reinstalling the game multiple times, restarting my PS5, and checking for both system and game updates, but the issue still happens every time I start or play the game.

This is extremely frustrating, and I paid for a product that currently does not work at all. I expect this to be fixed as soon as possible.

When exactly is the crash occurring?

The game is installed on the internal hard drive, i bought on the playstation store and downloaded it from there

Try clearing the cache and rebuilding the database with the instructions here.

Is the game installed on the internal hard drive or do you use an external/expansion drive?

Hi there. Is your console completely turning off or is the game crashing and sending you back to the PS dashboard?

Also, try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 26. It's possible you could lose any offline saves and changes to settings. Normally, those will download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee that will happen. Go to Settings/Storage/System storage/Saved Data. Locate NHL 26 and delete the saved data.
