Threes circuit offline not saving NHL26

My dad and I recently decided to play the threes circuit on nhl26, which we’ve played on previous versions and it usually just auto saves, but this time as soon as we clicked back out to the main screen it reset to the start even though it showed the autosaving icon in the top right.

When I clicked back into threes circuit the ea icon in the top right kinda bugged out which might have something to do with it.
