Please let me know when it's fixed I really want to get the game while it's on sale

I have the exact same problem with NHL25 myself but I was able to buy the game before I actually noticed that it was giving me that error. My purchase was made on January 3 2025 if that matters.

Hello. If you're getting this error after buying the game, delete it from your console and download the full game from the store and not through EA Play.

"Says unavailable on the app and web browser due to "you can't buy this product for the following reasons: you already own the following products, which conflict with the product you're trying to buy. NHL 25 EA play Trial". Have tried restoring licenses, have uninstalled the game, PlayStation has revoked original license. Nothing works! " - have the same issue with UFC 5

Same Issue.
I downloaded months ago the Trial version and since then I haven't been able to buy the game.
I was given up, but now the game is part of PS Plus Extra, and I cannot play it as part of my subscription.
EA, what are you doing? Why did you release a trial that does not allow you to purchase the game? This is the whole point of the trial, to buy the game after you try it.
Please fix. There is no way that I can delete the Trial from my Library. - gram2rizlo9 months agoNewcomer
I set up another PS5 account, bought EA Play, installed the game on a second account and then started it on my main account, and it worked.

Great! Thanks for letting me know. Glad to hear you're able to play now. If anything else comes up, please reach out again. Good luck and have fun!

I have that exact same issue with ANY PS5 Game where the Game Demo or Trial Version of the game is so much as ACTIVATED by downloading it which attaches a License for that entire Game Title using (I believe it's similar to this if nothing else) that attaches the License to the game specific sku code, NO MATTER What edition you are using... You can only bypass it as far as I see if the GameID changes for Retail versus Demo/Trial editions. Then again I could be totally wrong about it too HAHAHAHAHAHA

Doesn't work when I try it that way for me...

Have you tried initiating the download through the PlayStation website or app instead of going to the store on your console?
