My ping alternates between a flat 20 and 250+ms.I have found that I can predict when it will be bad, and when it will be good. If I check my club options, and bring up club search, sometimes it will be recommended that I search South-Central, and sometimes it will recommend East. When it recommends south-central, I draw poor connections when I join a club match, around 250ms with a very bumpy chart. When it recommends east servers, I draw a flat 20-30ms when I join a club match. Please note that I play in the same club every time. I have been playing NHL since 16 on east servers with no issues. I am running gigabit fiber with no issues in any other title. I have tried alternate DNS settings to no avail. (Not the google ones, though.)One more interesting note - this tends to NOT happen at all with drop in games. I pull a good connection almost always when running drops. The problem is, I really don’t run drops. Hoping I can get some real help here as this is a very frustrating issue.

I restarted the game. It says I lost connection. After it kicked me back to the main selection screen, I selected WoC. Checked club search options, and it is recommending east again.

do I need to go get a vpn and pay $12 a month to trick your servers into believing I’m east coast closer to Virginia or something
again, this is a new development, it’s not my internet, and I shouldn’t be routing through Texas servers to play with my buddies on the east coast and Canada

@chadkeefer I get that a lot too. The only time Its kind of ok, is when you have 3 or more teammates that are closer to another server they you are. But I still think that if you put server on exact/closest/specific server, (European North), Its should be played on that server! If wwe want to try to find games on European central/south, we want to give room-captaincy to a player who have that server closest to him/her. The real sullotion is obvious, and something I said for many years now: Let us click OK on servers we want to play on and OFF on servers we never will play on in our life. So then a player with all his friends on a remote server could join them easily. Also if your team cant find game late at night, they could choose servers they will accept to play on.

The server you should be getting put on is an average of the pings for your club. Are your teammates all in the Carolinas also? I'm in Texas and regularly play with guys in the NE US. My ping is pretty rough because we end up on the Central server. This is a lot closer to them than me, but that server is chosen based on the pings from everyone in the dressing room.
