Can you create one to test this with?
I created new xbox gamer tag, and EA ID.
It still fails the same.
Just of note - the new gammer tag did not xfer over my Live subscription, and I am not going to pay for a second Live subscription just to test.
Just the last couple screen shots

It should still use the same Xbox Live subscription as far as I know. Regardless, if you're getting the same error, it's not account-related. Are you able to connect if you switch to a mobile hotspot?
Aljo,
You hit the trick. Setting to my phone hotspot let me get to the accept screen. Then I switched back to my home network, and all is good !
My firewall, which is the same one I had for years, must have blocked something the game tried to do the first time it connected online.
Thanks again for saving a customer !

You're very welcome! Hopefully, you don't have to do that every time. Hopefully, you can whitelist NHL through you're router. Good luck and let us know if you have any other issues.
No changes to firewall, and all is working now. Looks like that first accept screen was the only thing that trigger a block.
I will see if I can dig through the logs, though given that I can't reproduce it anymore, it might to tough to see exactly what the firewall blocked for 22.

Hey, @TheBrickMan27
Thank you for updating us on this thread. I was wondering if you have any WiFi mesh networks? Or do you play the game with an Ethernet cable? Hi Blueberry,
No Mesh. xBox is hard wired ethernet.
I am running pfSense for a firewall, which is a step up from what comes on a standard home wifi router. But have never had problems with anything else.

Is that for Linux? I am trying to find a similar thread where someone had trouble accessing the servers and it was due to a similar software program for Linux. pfSense is based upon FreeBSD. FreeBSD and Linux are both flavors of Unix. But a Linux firewall would be different.

Thanks. PiHole is a similar program that resulted in a player not being able to get across the main menu.
