I was playing NHL 20 Hockey Ultimate Team Squad Battles. In the middle of a game, the game ended and told me that I was unable to connect to EA servers. This is the second time in the past week that this has happened. There is nothing wrong with the internet connection on my end. I contacted a friend who was playing NHL 20 at the same time and he stated that his game also told him that he could not connect to EA servers. As a result, I was kicked from the game and it says that I lost the game 3-0. I cannot reply this game either. I am completely frustrated with the lack of ways to contact EA for support and I am fed up with their servers crashing. EA needs to improve on their customer service big time. This is no way to run a company. I expect to be reimbursed for this game in some way. If anyone that works for EA directly is on this forum, please contact me immediately. This is getting completely out of hand and it makes me not want to play your games anymore.Sincerely,A completely fed up customer

@Steevot20 Online Versus uses a peer to peer connection. You're not on our servers for those games. Are either of you on a wireless connection? Also, can you both check the NAT setting? You can find that in your console's network settings.

I tried playing a online versus against a friend who lives less than 4 miles away, and it froze 3 times mid game in different parts of the game, randomly. We tried on both ends to troubleshoot our connection, followed all the steps via support, none worked. The final time was in the third period of a good game, and made us restart every time.
Please help me so I can enjoy playing against friends during this tough time!

I was not playing online versus. I was playing single player Hockey Ultimate Team Squad Battles. My friend was also playing this at the same time (not the same game as me though) and his crashed too, indicating a problem with EA servers.

Squad Battles uses an online connection since it's HUT so it could be any number of reasons for disconnecting. We were having an issue last week, but I'm not aware of any currently. Since you're frequently disconnecting, we should go through some troubleshooting. First, are you on a wired or wireless connection?

@EA_Aljo Okay so imagine the same issue this guy is having but every single game for me. I even set a designated static IP address, opened ports for the IP to connect to EA and NHL better and still having the same issue. Its literally unplayable. I went through customer service with EA, my ISP and Xbox all useless.
