There is no download / install button when i open The Sims 4 on Origin Macbook

You have to purchase the game through Origin to play on a Mac, there is no Steam version for macOS.- 4 years ago
But my steam and Origin accounts are connected, so I can't purchase Sims 4 through Origin.
Is there anything I can do?

There is no way to play the Steam version of Sims 4 in macOS. Even if you connect your accounts and the game shows up in Origin, you won't be able to download it, as you may have seen.
The only solution here is to buy the game through Origin. You may need to have the Steam copy removed from your Origin game library first. If refunding the game in Steam doesn't accomplish this, or it's too late for a refund, you can contact EA customer support to have it removed.

@blueeyeleo If you want to keep the Steam version so you can play it in Windows, you could try buying a product key for Sims 4 elsewhere (e.g. Amazon) and registering it. I don't know that it would work though: you should have two versions in Origin, one of which is downloadable, but I don't know whether this actually happens. And your Steam-bought packs would not be available.
