Is possible to get perma-banned by buying in-game content using a browser VPN?

As the Titles says; is Is possible to get perma-banned by buying in-game content using a browser VPN (by accident) and/or with a different second Paypal account?

Because I'm 100% sure that's what happened. After my 3 year old account got Perma-banned, I got a refund with the second paypal account that I made a purchase with that got me banned.

All my purchases are made within my browser and my VPN is set to USA basically all the time for months, since I'm only able to pay with USD across all digital stores.

  • Yes, using a browser VPN can lead to a ban. To reduce the risk, consider using Multilogin. It helps you manage multiple accounts securely and avoid detection, minimizing the chances of getting banned.

I know that buying stuff with a VPN is forbidden; that's why I blacklisted multiple digital stores (Steam, GOG, Origin etc)

I invested well over $200 in Apex and in this one small purchase I made a mistake, and that one mistake cost me my entire account.

  • You need to keep in mind that buying region specific stuff like games/movies is no good idea in general.

Lots of people do it to buy cheap stuff to resell.

Might get you banned not only on Origin.

Try not to spoof your location whenever possible.

As a I mentioned, the purchase was made with a VPN that unlisted everything with a update.

I didn't use the VPN to get a cheaper price. The purchase was made with 100% USD, I have tons of proof of that.

Getting permanent from your 3 year old account for a browser extension and a damn mere 5 dollars (*without any warning!*) is way to harsh.

Atleast your team could have been mailed me that I accidentally used a VPN to purchase and refunded instead.
