Issues with Origin nickname change

Hi Kent,

My first question is: How I can find user with nickname that I want to contact him by myself? Add friend isn't working properly in both versions of Origin and I've spent hours trying to find user 'Kando" without any extra lettes and numbers but as far as I see there is no way to strict search results by lenght etc or use regular expression to make sure I won't get results wich doesn't match at all. Can you add user with origing id "Kando" to my friendlist or give me his email somewhere in privat? It's crucial for me to set origin id till next ALGS Winter Circuit.

Hey @sanichkaua when replying to a CM it is always best to tag them by hitting the @ and then selecting or entering the name of the user you wish to speak with.

In relation to your situation, it would not be possible for us to contact the user for you or add them to your friend's list.

If the name you want to use is already in use then you will need to use a different name.

Noted. It's unfortunete that user ID system isn't managed by EA. I'll accept this situation, but what if someone will create bots and "use" hunderd thousand or even more nicknames on fresh accounts.
Anyway have a good day, hope there will be improvment in tournament rules or in ID system one day.

Hey @sanichkaua on Origin we do manage all usernames but if a name has been taken then you will need to use a different one.

If a user has set it so that they cannot be contacted by other users then this is not something that we can change.

i wanna change it to TheDang3r0us,

and it tells me there is a bad word in the nickname?

so Dang3r0us = allowed cuz i have this nickname since bf days,

add The in front off it and its bad?

Hey @Dang3r0us please do not post the same thing on multiple threads.

If the username you want to use is not accepted then you will need to choose another.
