Anthem taking forever to launch

Is there any fix for this? I have exactly the same experience. Disabling e-cores and hyper threading also didn't fix anything.

Hi, I was dealing with a similar issue, and came across something that may help if you have a newer intel CPU. In your BIOS settings, try turning off (or setting to 0) E-cores and disable Hyper Threading Technology. Haven't tested it much, or can vouch for the viability of the changes generally (I stumbled across this in a, red.dit thread, so if this helps, thank u/gimptoast over there.) Hope this helps anyone that stumbles across here looking to jump back in while it's still possible.

Same problems on i7-14700K with 5090 and no problems on i9-13900K with 3080ti.

I have the same issue on i9-13900KF with 4090, but does load OK on an older PC with 3080.
Analysing the wait chain in task manager just says its waiting for Network IO, but nothing more helpful. 

Indeed, I had exactly the same experience, even on a high-end PC. I'm not surprised EA is shutting down the servers, as no one is playing because the game is simply unplayable :/ 

Same here, Intel i7-14700f, 32GB DDR5, RTX 4060Ti. Works on my Intel 9-series laptop, DDR4, and 1660Ti.

What's your RAM, in the past during release i had that problem and updated my Ram and had no problem sense.

I just bought this to get 1 last playthrough before closes. Game will not launch. I seen EA offer 24 hour refund after u launch the game, but because i played gamepass version , it shows 9 hrs of playtime. EA support refused the refund and provided no help They not getting my 7 bucks, i even told them this isnt my hardware, this is their launcher. 5090 12900kf here. They scammed me straight up so im just going to charge back next week if i dont get it working. I'm not at fault here yet they refuse to listen when i tell tem, its like 20-30 mins for it to launch

Same issue too. Just reinstalled Windows and went straight to installing anthem with nothing else. I have a 4090, an i9-13900kf, it's installed on a nvme m.2 ssd. Everything that should make it so this game doesn't struggle and it takes 20 minutes in it's attempt to load to only come back to the main screen because it failed to connect
