Bug in Eradicator mission?
When accept an eradicator mission, the NPC automatically assume that I have the mind erase tool, but I get it after completing some of those kind of missions. Is it a bug or an error from the game developers?

I don't think it's a bug, but a suggestion.
I wouldn't worry about it, as scaring the citizens with my laser doesn't seem to decrease my relations with the empire in question
no its just saying it would be easier to use it that's all. 🙂
