Game: A Way Out, Problem: finding the friend pass.

Hi, 
I have purchased the game a while ago, me and my friend tried finding the friend pass, 
it is not in steam, and it is not available in EA (website and application), 
yes we added each other on EA and Steam, we have the EA application, our accounts are linked to our steam accounts.
when I am in the game and try to invite him, he gets the the invite and presses it, it directs him to the games page, but there is no try it for free, or friends pass, or buy button, it says it is unavailable,
our accounts are set to the same region, (also when we bought it), and we live close by(no I do not want to play remote from steam),
how can he install it on his pc? I bought it for the sole reason of playing it with him.
Also if someone knows where to open a ticket for it (EA support not Steam) I'll be glad.
