[SPORE] EditorSaves.package hitting 2.00 GB breaks creation saving in SPORE

I have been dealing with this problem and I want to know how I can reset it back to a normal size without compromising the integrity of my in-game Sporepedia. I have looked for help in the community, but they keep telling me that I have to clear the entire Sporepedia.

I was able to temporarily solve it, but it will ultimately be unsustainable.

Is there a simple solution or will I have to reset everything? Please give a detailed explanation because I really want to keep my creations tab intact.
