The Sims 4 is specially optimized for Mac, Spore is an older game and can cause problems here and there.
Nevertheless it runs on 2015 mac model, I play it myself to Mac. Important is.
Spore is not allowed to run in fullscreen mode at High Sierra. After launch of the game, press CMD and Enter at same time , select to windowed mode. Then go to the game settings and select the correct screen resolution.

- I have been trying for a few days and nothing works at all. I want to request a refund but I have tried to launch the game before and origin thinks that I have launched it before so its not letting me request a refund, what can i do?
