Unable to play Spore via EA

I have Spore GA downloaded but I can't play it because technically I don't have Spore downloaded through EA. I have the base game and the 2 expansions downloaded on Steam, but when I press CD Key nothing shows up, so I can't redeem the game on EA. I never had this problem when I used Origin.

    I already talked to them and solved the issue, how do I close this?
