After intro completes. and I press A with my controller, the narrartor speaks a dialogue and the game freezes(in-game image is shown below). everyone on STEAM version of dirt 5(including me) is facing the same issue.

Thanks for that tip. The 572 Drivers fixed the problem for me.
Now I have to figure out how to Quit to the Home Screen !!
If we will receive 3-4 more cases then the update will be out soon most probably by the coming week

i have exactly the same issue
they said its because of nvidia drivers i tried both game ready and studio for stability but the freezing at the beggining is just like shown on the screenshot
