Questions Re: Compensatory Grants for RR3 v12.6 Completed Flashback Events

Earlier today, @RealRacing3 posted a message on X in response to the software glitch identified in the latest release of RR3 (v12.6) causing two of the Flashback Events in that release (Huayra Royale & Track Day: Monza SP1) to have ‘Completed’ statuses prior to the start of those events, and for the events to be inaccessible once they have started.  In that message it was stated that EA would be “rolling out grants based on [players’] past progression.”

1) By “grants,” does this mean that EA will be crediting the account of each player affected by this glitch with all of the R$, gold coins, and Victory Points the player would have won had they been able to re-run those events in this release and achieved the same level of progress in completing the event as they had in the past? If not, please elaborate.


2) Is EA going to identify and issue grants to all of the players affected by this glitch automatically, or will be up to each affected player to contact EA regarding the glitch in order to receive a compensatory grant?  If the later is true, consider this my formal notification of being affected by the glitch.

3) Can EA provide an approximate timeframe for when it expects the issuance of grants to affected players to take place?

  • Saw that response from EA as well on FB.  “ Be Patient..” was the time frame that I read into it, so this could mean anything..

  • I've been fighting their "help" for days and gotten nowhere.... good luck.

  • I received some VPs and the gold cause I started both events in the past, but didn't finish them. But I still miss both cars. I completed the missions, but didn't receive the cars yet. Will this be fixed as well?

    I’ve chased them up 3 times but to no avail. No indication as to when - it’s over a month!! - surely this is a straightforward resolution.

    So, they stuffed me…

    their recent reply “I do understand that you are quite upset with what has happened. Had I been into your shoes, I would have felt the same. But unfortunately, the Support Team is not able to compensate for this issue.”

    So, despite playing and completing the game and paying gold for upgrades to do so, they decide to ignore me!

    Thanks fpr your effort Dave. But its really frustrating. If you completed the events, like other did. They receive the cars and I don't. Thats not fair. And I am still waiting for the cars.
