Last night i bought the year one dlc bundle in xbox store, load it up today and exact same thing. No cars, can't do any of the daily/weekly events, no coin, etc. Wow guess I'll refund immediately
It's a lost cause.
EA accuses Microsoft of not being able to resolve the problem (it's been 4 and a half years) while Microsoft retorts that the problem comes from the game publisher. Everyone passes the buck and the problem will never be corrected, c is a certainty!
Meanwhile, I also requested a refund for the Super Deluxe version via MS Store, which has been blocked for several days now. What a story...
I want to stress that they're refusing to resolve it and trying to pass the blame on.
Unfortunately, I am well equipped to know how the game works (beyond the surface level of the supposed blame Microsoft) and I can assure you it is EA and RaceNet.
This is pretty bad and the more people complain, the worse this will get and EA will have no choice but to fix it.
It's not my fault their server cannot detect whatever DLC I own. Ironically, these issues started after the acquisition of Codemasters. Funny that.
too late ive gone and requested a refund from Micrsoft so yea im getting my money back really disapointed result but im not wasting money on a company that isnt looking after their customers anymore
I also received a refund from Microsoft.
Anyway, all that hassle and several open tickets with Microsoft/Xbox and EA, only to end up with a game I can't even play for fear of losing game time.
I'd have hoped for a more favourable outcome, with a fix in sight.
But the bottom line is that everyone is passing the quid, and it's hard to see who's responsible for this malfunction.
Microsoft is blaming EA and asking for a refund rather than an in-depth study of a patch.
EA blames Microsoft and asks for a refund and/or purchase on Steam.
Neither of them is committing to taking responsibility for the problem. After a while, we consumers do what we can, but when it's out of our hands, the reality is that it's going to stay that way.
It's not over until it's over I suppose but if we can keep building the complaints, it could work.
Not that I'm an optimist about this but... Hey, I don't think this series has gone the right way since DR2.0.

Unfortunately, all the tickets I've opened so far have been unsuccessful, or have been limited to ‘known problem, won't be fixed’.
According to a Codemasters agent, the game supported at the moment is EA WRC and there will be no investigations into legacy games. (considering DR2.0 to be old)
In any case, they blame Microsoft for the problem and advise people to use Steam instead.
For their part, MS don't seem to be able to do much about it and aren't particularly counting on it, despite several reminders: it's refund and basta.
I sincerely believe that this will never be corrected.
This whole thing is so frustrating! We can’t fully use what we paid for and somehow they get away with it. And They are still selling it, It’s literally a scam at this point
I left a one star review on the xbox store page of the standard game explaining the issue. (Can’t post it on the GOTY edition since I don’t have it)

And EA saying « try buying the steam version instead » is the worst solution I’ve ever heard 😅. Toyota doesn’t tell me to buy another model when there is something wrong with my car, they actually try to fix it.
Ho and treating a 5 yo game like a 20yo game just shows how the industry works nowadays.

I have the same problem with GOTY on Xbox. 100% of the game achievements now unobtainable due to this, cause Kit Car achievements can't be unlocked. Funny thing that if you try to join online race then you'll see icon badge with D4+ and in My Team mode it shows default badge. Definitely problem on EA end like it was with Autolog in NFS The Run. Maybe certificates ended and that is why server can't recognize that all content is unlocked?

Having the exact same issue. I have also tried everything. Someone suggested installing all the DLC individually which I started doing and it didn't work so I didn't bother installing the last 40 packs individually as it's a waste of time. I also think it has to do with the certificates. Opened multiple tickets and still haven't gotten a response back. I think if enough of us message the higher ups at codemasters we have a better chance at getting this resolved, only community manager I'm aware of is @PJTierneyCM who I've already messaged. I still have a small amount of hope for this to get fixed before the game is inevitably de listed from the store lol
@Shaadum59 oh absolutely let’s see if we can get the community together and get this on their radar for them to fix it once and for all. I’ll just keep opening tickets, I’ve tagged the community managers on Reddit as well
Got a response from PJ Tierney on Reddit saying it's at least been passed on to them team, but no response from them as of yet. @EA_Groguet can you pass this along as well?

At least we are getting somewhere, EA support have been useless, responded with contact PSN even though I said it's Xbox then reply with we understand you want to deactivate your account. Not impressed with the quality of service I received
I haven't had too much success with the EA Support email tickets either, lots of back and forth so far without a resolution. At least Codemasters knows about the issue now though and bare minimum we should have a response and some sort of work around relatively soon I hope. I think as long as we keep updating this thread and making it heard it'll work out in the end

That's so frustrating, basically just a middle finger to anyone who bought the game instead of trying to fix it. I'll post here if I get the same "resolution" from them. My PC can barely run Windows XP pinball so buying this on steam is impossible lol I still believe this is on codemasters end with how racenet recognizes the DLC. Idk maybe I have too much false hope
Yea and because of how old the game is Ms won't give a refund, might be time for someone to take responsibility and fix the bug
