@RockSolid3142 These would both be a welcome additions to the game. We're given three camera options currently in the game. Follow camera works the best of the three, but I've never been a fan of follow cam for some reason. It takes the immersion of watching the ball flight from the golfer's perspective way too soon.
The Pro camera comes closer to delivering what I want, but it doesn't seem to cut to the downrange camera until the ball has finished 95% of its travel. I'd either like to see that cut come at 70 to 75% of the ball's travel to get a better look at how it finished. Maybe even better would be to give the player the option as to when to make that camera switch, like PGA TOUR 2K23 uses.
The broadcast camera just flat out feels broken to me. More often than not it cuts to camera views that are further away from the ball, are obscured by trees, terrain, or objects. It looks nothing like any golf broadcast I've ever seen on television.
If I had my preference, I'd prefer that they add a presentation option like EA Sports had in Tiger Woods 2008. I think it's called the "snap to lie" presentation. It stays with the swing camera view through 50 to 60% of the flight, then switches to a downrange camera looking back at a 180 degree angle as the shot is coming to its destination. I would think something like that would be easier to code into the game than a broadcast camera that's going to have to have some pretty serious AI involved with it to make it look right.
