PS5 deluxe edition - Can't Play, only lets me play round with Scottie Scheffler
Can anyone help I have bought deluxe edition on ps5 but can’t access full game, will only let me play first round with Scottie

When deluxe version opens up, automatically starts Masters with Scottie Scheffler on the first tee. Unable to create a player, enter career mode, and career journey. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for letting us know about this, I wanted to check if it would be possible to get a bit more information from anyone who can only play a round with Scottie Scheffler.

You can only play with sheffler and when you try to leave you can only press restart the round. And when you close the game and go back in to the game you start where you left of in the round with sheffler

I am having this same issue. What did u do to fix it?

Started yesterday afternoon First launch of program nice intro, had Sir Nick say hi (voice over) pressed button to start, after Masters introduction went straight to first tee.
Never saw any error messagescontrols seem to work fine
no matches with Scottie, just playing the round
Upon leaving the game, restart goes right back to masters intro and Scottie in the first tee
have even closed the game, opened another PS5 game, closed it and returned to PGA with the same results (Masters with Scottie on first tee)
Have even shut down PS5 for reboot and same result.
no other options. Was going to delete the game and reinstall it from the library. That was next.PSN ID. KYTRVLR

Are you only able to enter a match with Scottie Scheffler? At the start of the game it says "select any button to continue" After I hit X it takes me to Augusta playing as Scottie Scheffler and there's no way to exit the mode, it only allows me to restart the round.
What happens if you try to leave the round or quit the game and relaunch? The option to leave the round or quit is not there, only restart round. I closed the game and restarted numerous times and same thing happensPlease share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: Restarting the game, restarting the PS5, finished the round to see if the option to leave was available and it wasn't, only allowed me to restart the round
I figured it out. Delete the version that you downloaded, and go to version before you redownload. Then you can download the deluxe version. We were downloading the demo for the standard version.
- @EA_Illium I figured it out. We were downloading the demo for the standard edition. We need to delete that and then download the deluxe version.
Tried to download the game from my PS5 library. Same results, heading to the first tee of the Masters with Scottie.

My created player isn’t listed. It forced me to create a new one. However, my challenges are done without the level or XP (see picture)
I also don’t have the deluxe items that I purchased (see screenshot)

4-7, and yes the issue is unresolved.

I’m only able to play with Scotty, and then once the round is over the round repeats. No main menu or other option.

Same thing upon restart of console, clearing of cache, etc. The Deluxe game loads, puts Scotty on the #1 tee at Augusta. I have no menu options to choose from.
I can only restart the round, or resume the round.
Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue:Has anyone figured out a solution yet? I downloaded the standard edition to my PS5 and all it will allow me to do is play the initial round with Scheffler. I didn’t get any other kind of menu or options. Very frustrating
it s because the download is not complete, check the download status. there is a step of the download you can just play this round ( around 20 percent of the total download) .
This issue is currently bothering me and none of the solutions listed have worked.I bouththe full game 3 days ago I have downloaded it and installed it various times and it sets me always to the demo
I have let it load till the end with no difference.
Put a ticket in with EA support and still nothing
Same here - this is super frustrating. No word from EA on when this will be fixed either.
Seems to be a similar problem that I have.
I am not allowed to play career mode or save any settings at all.
I am starting to beleive it has something to do with the trial version overriding the full game installation.

I need help!! All I can do is play against Scheffler
You HAVE to download the whole game. You are playing the part that is necessary to play the first activity. They do that so you can play the game while you are waiting for the game to fully download. As you download, you are able to access more and more activities until you finally have the whole game downloaded and can access everything. Patience grasshopper 😃
