What are XP points used for? I keep earning 1,000’s of XP points, but not sure how to use them. The number of XP points I’ve earned don’t appear anywhere.
XP increase your player level as shown in the top-right corner of the menu screens. For each new level you get 2 skill points, used to upgrade your player (including gaining access to additional shot types).

I don't think this is shown anywhere but I'm also not sure there really is any need to be able to see this either? The most interesting thing to know is how many more XP you need to level up and this is shown in the top right of the screen.

If you have the rewards option showing at the top of the menu screens you may find you need to claim the XP there.
