Considering that this issue has been "worked on" for five days, and apparently, posts are being closed or marked as solved, it seems like they're more interested in suppressing the problem than looking for solutions. The Arena session ends on Monday. Enough money will have been spent on gems and fists by then. A good profit for EA. Too bad for the user.
EA is pretty greedy but that's a terrible way of looking at the problem. Mostly because it's complete nonsense. Alienating longtime customers who are willing to buy their microtransactions is only going to cost them money in the long run. It cost them effectively nothing to add these things to people's accounts and they lose nothing by people having them. However if people don't feel safe or don't feel like they're getting anything out of purchasing the microtransactions they're going to stop.
