I have gone up to the Jurassic Marsh level but have at least a half dozen, maybe more plants that Inhave apparently earned but remained locked. Electric Blueberry, Parsnip, ect. I have more than enough points to unlock, but they won’t. I have rebooted my iPad, deleted and reinstalled the game but nothing works. I even replayed some old levels where the plant in question is earned and It still won’t unlock. What can I do?
There is nothing wrong with the game nor your iPad.
As a new player I think you are not aware there are different types of plants, some can be unlocked by seeds (seedium), some can be unlocked by gems (gemium), power mints can only be unlocked by mint (tokens) and some cash premium plants can only be unlocked with real cash.
You can easily find out which is which by visiting the store (by taping the trolley) and open the shop menu [Plants] as shown on the image blow.
All of the plants you are referring to either need to be bought with gems (usually 100) or with external purchases and currency (via clicking on the specific plant you want or through the shop tab). This is not a bug and your game is completely normal. Hope this helps!
